This episode of Feast Or Famine looks at food safety within the food supply chain. We use the U.S. National School Lunch Program as a case study as we describe how science, technology and policy impact food safety from the beginning to end of the food supply chain. This program's objectives are to educate the viewer about the organisms that make us sick, how these organisms get into our food supply chain and what we can do to protect ourselves from food born illnesses.
