Tasty Online Marketing for Restaurants

Upon my arrival to Phoenix, AZ - I had the pleasure of meeting April Holle of Made Better Studio. Its sister companies, Business Made Better and Design Made Better are the educational support for Made Better. While learning more about what each of them do, I stumbled upon an interactive tool for small businesses - which helps them with their market strategy by using specific areas of social media for their industry.

I found the following article, which is tailored for the food and beverage industry and thought it would be a great share here on

It explains the importance of the customer experience through social media channels such as twitter, facebook, youtube, and others. Again, I thought it was a great article and hope you find it helpful.

Best regards,
Geoff Snyder

  • I know April! I secretly have a crush on her actually... she did some work on my personal blog CSS (and I need more after the update to 3.0) look forward to hearing more Geoff.
  • Great info in that article Mr. Snyder! I can tell you from first hand use off all those sources of Social Media that IT WORKS!
We went from 0-60 in a mere couple of weeks after I got the ball rolling on Twitter first, then YouTube and then Facebook.
With Yelp, we merely kept an eye on what was said and chimed in when we felt necessary. But at the end of the day it all came down to dialogue and engaging the consumer on a personal and professional level without hitting them over the head with ads and sales. It was about people. Conversation. Trust.
    Great stuff my friend!
    Keep these gems coming :-)
