Restaurant Social Media

You may have noticed that FohBoh is promoting and advertising the upcoming Restaurant Leadership Conference April 19-21. You may also have heard that FohBoh was selected by CSP (owners of the Restaurant Leadership Conference) as its exclusive partner for social media; basically powering the event and providing pre-conference promotion, at-conference thought leadership and post-conference, continuing education and community management for the new Restaurant Leadership Community.

What you may not know is that we are excited and very proud to be part of this amazing event. Why? Because leadership isn't a commodity and it's needed now more than ever. Leadership is focused passion; a unique combination of art + science and a rare gift to all of us. We sometimes take our leaders for granted and fail to appreciate how critical they are in business, politics and religion.

The mentors in my life have affected how I speak, dress, handle stress and train people. They have educated and supported me and without them, a lot of bad decisions may have been made. Without these mentors, my personal leaders whom I look for wisdom, I would not have enjoyed the success I have. It's because of this that I admire CSP and respect the Restaurant Leadership Conference for its contribution to Restaurant Leadership at a time when this industry needs leadership and innovation. The concept and the practical application of inspired leadership is key to any success. I was always told that we have two ears and one mouth, so use them accordingly.

So, I encourage you to join other top executives at the Restaurant Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona April 19-21... Let's make this the start of something big as we start a whole new decade.

Mike Nahkunst, former COO at Cheesecake Factory, BJ's Restaurats and one of the original 7 guys that started Chili's. Mike is an encyclopedia of restaurant operations expertise.

Greg Phipps, a former partner of mine at Stanford Capital Partners and one of the three guys that invented the Wrap Fee program at E.F. Hutton and Shearson Lehman Bros. Amazing insight, gracious and brilliant mind.

Larry DuLittle, friend, partner and associate. Larry taught me about continunity, relationships and stability.

While I have many more to thank, these three have shaped me as a person and as a professional.

Thanks!!
