Here's a little about our current FohBohists...

Alyson Mar: Alyson Mar, RD is FoodCalc’s in house registered dietitian. After completing her Bachelor’s of Science from San Diego State University in food science and nutrition she went on to complete a dietetic internship through United Health Centers WIC where she specialized in community health, and feeding low income children. Alyson’s professional and scholastic experiences also include food service management, clinical dietetics, menu planning for specialized diets, school meal reimbursement, and community feeding projects. As a Registered Dietitian Alyson is registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and a member of the American Dietetics Association.


Andy Swingley: Andy Swingley has 12 years of experience in multi-unit leadership and 25 years experience in the food service industry. Currently the Regional Manager of 30 restaurants at Thomas & King, DBA Applebee's Andy leads teams in producing over 80 million in annual sales. Prior to Applebees, Andy spent ten years with the famous upscale restaurant and nightclub group Bobby McGees working from hourly Food Server to General Manager. Andy is well known for his leadership and team building development, sales building, and intense focus on the profitability of operations.


Ty Sullivan: Ty has been the Director of Marketing & Social Media for one of NYC’s largest and most successful QSR style concepts in NYC since 2002. Having a 15 year prior background in restaurants from Waiter to General Manager, the landscape of designing campaigns and social media strategies come very easily to Ty. He was one of the first in the concept of “going beyond the logo” to add an interactive voice to the companies Twitter presence. He is also the driving force in designing all Employee Appreciation and Morale Boosting programs to insure a happier work place. Ty is also a public speaker and works tirelessly for charity organizations.


David Rose: David is the Vice President-Recruiting with YELLOW DOG Recruiting. With more than 16 years of experience recruiting mid to executive level leaders in the service and hospitality industries, David Rose has a keen sense of the candidate experience. He has a track record of success with some of the world’s top service companies including American Express and Compass Group. David’s specialties include: relationship building, inclusive recruitment strategy development, career coaching and counseling, branding, AIRS Certified Recruiter, and information sharing.


Kathleen Wood: Kathleen is the founder of Kathleen Wood Partners, LLC, a growth strategy firm specializing in advancing leaders and businesses to new levels of success through accelerated strategic planning, transformational organizational development and productive infrastructure architecture.
Kathleen Wood is an executive leader possessing over twenty years of cross functional expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, crisis management and relationship building. Kathleen’s expertise extends to entrepreneurial, turnaround and fast growing businesses.


Josh Hersh: Hello FohBoh community! My name is Josh Hersh, now residing in Chicago after making a short stop in Washington, D.C. and originally hailing from America's breadbasket - the great state of Kansas. I recently founded ChatterBuild Strategies to come alongside restaurants and to assist them in laying out and executing their social media efforts and outreach. Since my teenage years I have dabbled here and there in the food industry, but am overall an enthusiastic foodie! I cannot think of an industry more suited for social media and look forward to sharing the endless possibilities that can strengthen relationships with your customers.


Rod Guinn: Rod is a Board Advisor to FohBoh, with a focus on growth and developing partnerships across the operating, finance and service communities. He is an Operating Partner with FocalPoint Partners LLC, an independent investment bank, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, raising capital (both debt and equity), and financial restructurings. And advisor to restaurant operators, investors, and lenders, with a focus on developing capital structures which best support operating plans and provide for satisfactory returns to all parties.


Chase LeBlanc

Chase LeBlanc is the founder and CEO of Leadagers LLC, a business consultancy serving the hospitality industry. He is the author of the soon to be published book, High Impact Hospitality: Uprgrade Your Purpose, Performance and Profits. Chase has always earned his living as one of the following: a busser, a prep cook, a line cook, a food runner, a server, a bartender, a door host, a DJ, an event promoter, an assistant manager, a beverage manager,a General Manager, a new store opening specialist, training store supervisor, a multi-unit manager, a Vice President of operations, a concept creator, a deal maker, four time owner/operator and served twice as President of a closely held hospitality corporation.
