Integrating valet service with the POS

We recently set up our system to include communication with the valet and I was wondering what others out there thought about this?...

By the server asking for the valet ticket when they return to the table to collect payment and entering the ticket # at the POS, the valet receives notification to retrieve the customers car.

With only a few extra touches at the POS terminal, the servers are moving the tables faster upon payment and the feedback from the customers has been… Continue

In this nifty talk and demo, Patten imagines a more visceral, physical way to bring your thoughts and ideas to life in the digital world, taking the computer interface off the screen and putting it into your hands.

TED: Hamish Jolly: A shark-deterrent wetsuit (and it's not what you think) - Hamish Jolly (2013)

(Which, statistically, is rare, but certainly a fate worth avoiding.)
