Biography: I grew up in the restaurant business, my family owned and operated an independent multi-unit chain for over 50 years. The business was sold in 2007, and after a brief sabbatical I rejoined the industry working with the Montana Restaurant Association and wearing multiple hats. I am working to develop the ProStart program here in Montana, and I have been certified to instruct and proctor ServSafe food safety, and ServSafe responsible alcohol service, as well as the TIPS program for responsible alcohol service.
