Old School Marketing gave me 52% Sales growth!

These past few weeks have been incredible for our restaurant! For the past few weeks we have been seeing sales growth numbers like 37.87% and 41.27%. And last week an astonishing 52.02% over last year! And this doesn't even include the strategy I mentioned earlier this year that will add HUGE sales! That doesn't start until around October or November. This is purely from weekly activity, that has NOTHING to do with social media! It seems everyone is on the social media push in the restaurant…See More

Most of us on FohBoh understand or have heard of the concept of Smart Scheduling. Essentially, utilizing stronger employees during weaker sales times to help with your overall labor costs, right? After having a conversation with a few of the local restaurant managers (who were at our place again for a few drinks ;), I realized not all managers have truly taken the concept of smart scheduling to its full potential within their restaurants. You see, I track each servers individual Average Guest…See More

Essentially we were going to aim to be recognized as the restaurant in town that just seemed to be EVERYWHERE.In my last post I talked about how I had…See More

Last Week I Turned 2 Meetings into $500k/Year For Our Restaurant!

It's true. I'm not making it up.Just last week I turned 2 meetings into $500,000 additional revenue for our restaurant (over a six month period) with a total investment of around $6000 and some time.Let me rewind a little to give you an idea of how it all transpired.Recently a hockey tournament was being held at the arena a few blocks away from our restaurant, and I was about to miss out on the wave of business this could bring in. I know, I know...how could we not know ahead of time and get in…See More
