Biography

After a formal education and an esteemed career in Culinary Arts, I turned my focus to Sales and Marketing. Ten years later, and after much success in sales, I found myself in a role that combined the professional loves of my life, Culinary Arts, Operations and Sales & Marketing as a partner in a startup restaurant concept, Tazinos. Several years and one major economic recession later, my family and I have landed back in Colorado; a place we’ve longed to return to for well over a decade!

As the Area Director of Food & Beverage for two of RockResorts premier luxury properties in Vail, I found myself not enjoying the lifestyle that we moved to the mountains for so I have found myself retired from the game of working too much and not having a life balance. I am so much happier and healthier for it!

So now it’s on to the next great thing; this will sound contradictory, but it’s time for a move to GM, regional VP or the like. I’ve found that my true love is setting a vision and building the team to achieve it; patience is a virtue but a strong team is a Godsend!
