"Daddy, I need you to tell me to take a nap." - my son Daniel
Biography
Work life started for me in my parent's U-Bake pizza franchise here in suburban Portland in 1988. The food creativity itch began to hum and fester with every standard pie generated. From there friends and I would come in after hours and experiment with as many varieties as possible to give a shot on the menu.
A buy-out from the franchisor moved my food exploits to the catering world of Bon Appetit (Compass Group) in their many B&I accounts throughout the Portland Metro area. My love for food prep and presentation really took root in this environment.
To sum up: three years of college, a Starbucks shift leader run, a six year stint as a youth pastor at a non-denominational Christian church, and a few years of consulting has lead to a blossoming enterprise software sales career with Kronos. My focus in the fields of my first love - the restaurant industry - has created a very nice niche indeed.
My lovely bride Julie is my heart and the family we're building is unbeatably awesome.
