ATTN: Restaurant Owners/Managers

INSTANT WEB PRESENCE FOR YOUR ESTABLISHMENT

Dear Owner/Manager,

At restaWeb, we specialize in creation and promotion of practical and affordable restaurant websites. That’s all we do. Other professional web development companies charge 2-3 times as much for a similar offering, while not even specializing in the restaurant industry!

Our research shows that as much as 90% of all restaurants in US either do not own a website or own a website that is inadequately designed and promoted.

We’ve got the creation and promotion of restaurant websites down to a science. We have developed standards that make our clients websites very effective. Most of our sites are completed within ten working days. Imagine going from 0 to 60 in less than two weeks time! We work with every client individually to make sure that they are happy with their new online presence.

We offer custom professional and practical websites that are easy to maintain, not “Mickey-Mouse” sites that we see all over the web. We work with restaurants of every type, ethnicity and size (see our latest project El Norte Mexican Restaurant in Lodi, NJ: www.elnortenj.com).

Once your site is completed, we offer an inexpensive monthly promotion plan that will get your site going and keep it in the public eye.

The majority of our clients see increased customer traffic within the first two weeks since the site launch. Many of our websites pay for themselves within the first 1-2 months from inception. Some of our clients have reported as high as a 30% increase in business due to our promotions.

For pricing and more info email me directly at tmaxwell@restaweb.com. I promise that you will enjoy and benefit from your new web presence and it will not cost you an arm and a leg.

Sincerely,

Tim Maxwell

Tim,
Thanks for the info! I can easily add your company info to our standard list under "local suppliers" - "internet" and "technology solutions". If you'd like to become a focused supplier see the WNY website for more info. Currently WNY is online, Northern Ohio is in 2 weeks, then Phoenix 2 weeks later. We have 56 communities planned and hope to have them by year's end. This shortened link will take you there! - Joe

TED TALKS VIDEO

TED: Norman Spack: How I help transgender teens become who they want to be - Norman Spack (2013)

Puberty is an awkward time for just about everybody, but for transgender teens it can be a nightmare, as they grow overnight into bodies they aren't comfortable with. In a heartfelt talk, endocrinologist Norman Spack tells a personal story of how he became one of the few doctors in the US to treat minors with hormone replacement therapy. By staving off the effects of puberty, Spack gives trans teens the time they need. (Filmed at TEDxBeaconStreet.)

TED: Jennifer Senior: For parents, happiness is a very high bar - Jennifer Senior (2014)

The parenting section of the bookstore is overwhelming—it's "a giant, candy-colored monument to our collective panic," as writer Jennifer Senior puts it. Why is parenthood filled with so much anxiety? Because the goal of modern, middle-class parents—to raise happy children—is so elusive. In this honest talk, she offers some kinder and more achievable aims.

TED: David Brooks: Should you live for your résumé ... or your eulogy? - David Brooks (2014)

Within each of us are two selves, suggests David Brooks in this meditative short talk: the self who craves success, who builds a résumé, and the self who seeks connection, community, love -- the values that make for a great eulogy. (Joseph Soloveitchik has called these selves "Adam I" and "Adam II.") Brooks asks: Can we balance these two selves?

TED: David Sengeh: The sore problem of prosthetic limbs - David Sengeh (2014)

What drove David Sengeh to create a more comfortable prosthetic limb? He grew up in Sierra Leone, and too many of the people he loves are missing limbs after the brutal civil war there. When he noticed that people who had prosthetics weren’t actually wearing them, the TED Fellow set out to discover why — and to solve the problem with his team from the MIT Media Lab.
