- I am a full-time writer and full-time restaurant aficionado. I worked in restaurants and hotels since I was 16, through college and returned to the industry while I wrote a novel and freelanced. I received mulitiple sales and service awards and placed on a major chain's Bartender Picks contest three consecutive years.
I now cover the Orange County, CA restaurant industry as senior writer for OCMETRO BUSINESS magazine and website. I also produce the lifestyles section, Unplugged, and write travel, lunch reviews, retail, health, fitness and event stories for our bi-weekly publication. I write twice-daily news stories for the website.
I continue to freelance in all disciplines and have extensive knowledge of food (all styles), wine and am passionate about cooking and the restaurant industry in general.
