Two middle aged and extremely drunk golfers getting a hand job at the bar by a morbidly obese and very fugly prep cook after her shift. I am not kidding or exaggerating.

Young and Innocent

"Que the music..."

...This is the end

Beautiful friend

This is the end

My only friend, the end

Of our elaborate plans, the end

Of everything that stands, the end

No safety or surprise, the end

I'll never look into your eyes...again

Can you picture what will be

So limitless and free

Desperately in need...of… Continue

Holiday Concert Time (but not holiday music)...and Happy Boxing Day

Posted on December 26, 2009 at 5:55am 2 Comments

Perhaps a good time to post some truly rare and awesome live music.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!!!

Pavarotti and Jon Bon Jovi "Let it Rain/Fa Che Piova"

I'm a moderate Bon Jovi fan but this song is perfect! I read that this has never been recorded in a studio and was written personally by Jon for Luciano and only ever performed here live...

The Pav and Bryan Adams "O Sloe Mio"

Simply awesome!...and a little… Continue

Julie & Julia...a movie review and a lot less...(surprise bonus included!)

Posted on November 6, 2009 at 1:31pm 5 Comments

I have to confess, I have never been a huge fan of Julia Child. It's not that I ever had any issues with her personally, she just wasn't my 'thing'. I now realize that this was probably a mistake. I should have made her my thing. My bad!

As a young and aspiring gourmet cook in my teens, I was more interested in Chef Martin Yan's Cooking Show, Yan Can Cook.

Lessons in Boh Safety from Calamity Jane

Posted on October 24, 2009 at 10:58am 3 Comments

Watching this video, at first I was slightly amused, then confused, then concerned, and eventually reached the climactic point of astonishment.

You simply have to see this to believe it!

This video could easily be used by any restaurant manager or even corporate to teach employees what NOT to do if a fire erupts in the kitchen.

There are so many mistakes made by this one employee, you could easily write a quiz to see how many mistakes people catch by watching… Continue

The "Bureau" became the "Board" in May. We didn't want the Better Business Bureau to take an issue with our name.

Hey Steve,
Life in the Midwest, better now with spring moving to summer quickly (as is usually the case) ~ 35 degrees one day and 80 the next. Would prefer the more temperate Oregon climate and someday hope to make that happen.
I thought I would let you know that I think you have the best videos on FOHBOH. There is always at least one that make me laugh. Thanks for putting smiles on our faces!

Yup, Dominos has alot of work to do. A self inflicted urban legend is hard to overcome. With all the choices for pizza, it will be interesting to see if any reply is comming. Hey, thanks for the OSI article...is there a Nero in the house.. we need a violin.

Thanks Steve. I actually turned on Daniel Poon to the site this morning. (Hector - CEO of Neptune's son) Daniel has a very cool website he created that I will forward to you. He's a Cordon Bleu trained chef and created a website to show his home cooking which rivals most restaurants. Not only are the recipes there, but he photographs steps and such and does a great job. He and his fiance created it from scratch.
