Biography

Ron Polk is the president of Spectrum One, which he founded in 1997. Spectrum One is a marketing & media consulting firm that works with both advertisers and advertising agencies to maximize the return on marketing & media dollars.

Spectrum One has provided expert marketing & media consulting services to several national restaurant chains, including Hardee’s, Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, Wendy’s International, Firehouse Subs, and Captain D’s in the Quick-Service segment, as well as Fazoli’s and Rubio’s in the Fast Casual segment, and Olive Garden and Red Lobster in the Full Service casual segment. Spectrum One has also provided expert marketing & media consulting to non-restaurant companies such as Carolina Pottery, Friendly Check, Community Home Care & Hospice, North Carolina Farm Bureau Health Insurance, Strata Corporation, GolfSouth, and others.

Prior to founding Spectrum One, Ron Polk served as the Director of Media for Wendy’s International from 1982 to 1989, and Director of Media & National Advertising for Hardee’s Restaurants from 1989 to 1997. Ron began his marketing career working for major advertising agencies in both New York and the Midwest.
