Biography: I have been working in the food industry since I was fifteen and got my first McDonald's job. When I turned 18, I graduated to the world of food delivery, pizza to be more exact. I moved up the ranks from driver to cook to manager and eventually General Manager of a high revenue store in the Lansing Area. I have now nearly 6 years of fast food/fast casual management experience in three different States across the US. Although I am no longer working the pizza industry, this experience has given a well versed knowledge of the street structure and general mapping of the Metro Lansing Area. While I have cooked at home for myself and entertained friends and family with my own brand of cooking, I have only recently started to do it professionally at a full service restaurant. The work is fast paced and I throughly enjoy it. It has inspired me to begin my education in the Culinary Arts starting this summer. I would eventually like to open my own catering business and create my own menus and signature dishes. I have often said that food is the only art absolutely inherent to human survival. I will try any food once and have yet to find something that doesn't agree with my palette.
