We have been working on building up our new student section so that it could become a great resources for students thinking about culinary school, or those already in… Continue

Slow Food Is Good Food

Posted on April 23, 2008 at 3:08pm 0 Comments

So apparently slow food has nothing to do with crockpots. My bad. I know people that insist on cooking everything on low heat for hours (green bean mush, anyone?), but the slow food movement has nothing to do with that, either!

According to a slow food article on Chef2Chef (my site) the ideals of slow food are:

Top Chef: Battle of the Sexes

You can see it right? The Top Chef producers have set viewers up for a battle of the sexes.

During last week's show, the producers broke up the lovable lesbian couple Jennifer and Zoi (Zofer tees coming soon!), and concluded with a fight scene that would've made Soprano's producers proud. Spike, who earlier in the episode remarked… Continue

Well, no. I have a cat. We has a silver tone German Shepherd when I was a kid--he was a great dog. My sister used to breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks and I spent a lot of time at the dog shows with her--for someone who doesn't have dogs, I know my breeds!
