Biography
Chef Miriam Russell-Wadleigh is a fourth generation San Franciscan whose great grandfather organized and was president of the San Francisco Butcher’s union.
She is a Dean’s List Graduate of the California Culinary Academy (1995) externing with Chef Tom Douglas to open Etta’s Seafood in Seattle.
She was Pastry Chef at Stars’, Palo Alto and helped open Spago, Palo Alto where she became Sous Chef.
Since 1999 she has owned her own catering company Sage Cuisine and has done catering for Coast Catering as Kitchen Manger, Eurest Dining Services as Chef Manager, and Lulu Catering.
She has worked as a Private Chef for several high profile Bay Area clients, emphasizing nutritional counseling, heart healthy cuisine and integrating produce grown on-site into her menus.
After three years as Exec Chef at Central Park Bistro she moved to Brio’s larger sister restaurant, Piacere where she now combines the best local ingredients with a fresh take on modern Italian cuisine.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I agree with everything you say. Each person is different and you get out of life what you put into to it. How old were you when you went into cooking?

My blog has obviously broached a subject that many are concerned with by the number of views it has. This is what blogging was ment to be, raise some questions, exchange ideas and passing on knowledge to each other.
