At 6:49am on August 5, 2008, Mike Keegan said…: Actually it ended up being an 8 oz. Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon. Yum. Can't remember the wine - a guest brought it but it was excellent (I'll have to look in the recycling bin and remember what it was so I can buy a bottle). Corn on the cob done on the grill with olive oil instead of butter and a spinach salad with a raspberry vinigrette dressing.

Appetizer was baguette sliced, crisped on the grill with a tomato-basil spread.

It was an excellent meal followed by a brandy and cigar on my deck.
