Biography
Left my native Detroit in 1982 after several years working, running and owning live music venues. After a long search, opened The Hopleaf in Chicago in 1992 and grew it into a national destination for beer lovers, fans of all things Belgian, and devotees of innovative beer centric dining. My passions are travel, food and drink, film and music and lefty politics.

Hi Michael,

My name is DJ Tryba and I am a consultant working for Gordon Food Service in the metro Chicago area, and I was wondering if you would be interested in meeting to see if GFS can help you meet and exceed your restaurant's goals.
