Well with our economy, and with everything going on, I was naive in thinking that I would not be part of that collateral damage. I was giving assurance about "no lay off's" over and over. I had fallen into a comfortable trap. The saddest part was I had finally found a "home". Somewhere I was proud to get up every day and head into work. Somewhere that I felt I could make a positive difference.

OK....as i continue to explore the options i have, in terms of possibly moving back to Southern CA, i find myself deciding a couple of things

1. To stay or not to stay with my company

I love my company, and as we all know that is hard to find. The issue really is $. I hate to ever say a job comes down to $, but in this case, moving from Las Vegas, back to Southern CA, is going to require an increase in salary. Thoughts on my future!

Well a lot has been going on with work, and more importantly my family. Due to this, it has caused me to truly do some "soul searching" about my future within our industry. As many of you who know me, or just read what i write, i have a true passion for the Food & Beverage sector. I love being able to "WoW" guests at every chance, being able to help create exciting food and drink menu's, and continually just challenge myself to continue to learn and grow.

My First Blog

I am addicted to blogging. In reality, i started to blog when i was 13 years old when my parents sent my brother and i to a family therapist. She recommended that, if i wasnt able to verbally communicate my thoughts and feelings, that i get a pen and notebook and just burn out the ink. I did so, and havent stopped yet.

I keep blogs on numerous sites including my myspace page and blogger.com.
