June 7, 2011 at 6pm to June 10, 2011 at 12pm
The People Report Workforce Symposium was created by and for service sector HR leaders and operators, who recognize that the workforce challenges that we face today are tougher than ever. This truly unique conference is about what you need to know and to be doing NOW, to position yourself and your brand for success in a post-recession "new normal" workplace and marketplace. The best of People Report and Black Box Intelligence research, a phenomenal line-up of speakers and experts, social media,…See More

Biography
I am a very lucky woman who gets to work for an awesome company part time and also be a full time mom to my wonderful daughter Sophia. At People Report, I manage the two conferences we hold each year for our members as well as help support our sales and marketing team. It is a great job as I love the people I work with and believe that People Report is making a positive impact in the industry.

Prior to People Report, I worked for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in the sales and communications department. I graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2000 with my BA in Sales and Meeting Management. I grew up in this industry and it is a BIG passion of mine and I am so proud to be a part of it.

In my spare time I like to do the things I love most including spending time with my family, cooking, cake decorating and walking- training for the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk in Chicago this year!

Congratulations on completing the 3 Day! Not sure about 2009 San Diego for me, but would love to root for you along the trail. I plan to go to the summer CHART meeting. It's my 25th CHART anniversary.
Take care-

Hey Melissa! I'm not going to be at the NY event, but can't wait to see everyone at Best Practices in Nov.

All the best to you and yours,

Todd

Hey Melissa,

Not sure if I will be able to attend the meeting in November or not but feel free to let Robin know that I would be a good asset to attend with her and introduce her to everyone. :-)

Posted some more picture of the little cutie pie we call Audrina. Thanks for the reminder.

I know I may be biased but I have to say she is the cutest thing I have seen in a while (outside of my wife and kids).

All is well and trust the same goes for you. Great family shot! Can't make the conference, but maybe our HR folks can. If you get to Cleveland in July for CHART, we can catch up.

Everyone is doing well here, but could use some rain to clear the air of ragweed. I think John and Chuck are coming to your conference. I am shooting for next year! I'd love to meet with you after things calm down. Joni and I were chatting online a week ago about a few ideas.

You all are great partners!

So awesome to get to meet your little princess there - she is beautiful and obviously very loved. Thank you for all the dilligent work you did to pull off yet another SMASHING conference!

And here your name seemed so familiar! I was looking at the messages and scheduling with Matt Smith (met him at RLC last week) and kept seeing your name and wondering why it seemed so familiar.
Another FOHBOH miracle!
Joni did great at RLC in really driving home the point. We have a bunch of folks lined up to do something about it! So how cool is that! Let her know it was very fruitful and that our thoughts and prayers are with her in Her and Wally's loss.
Take care and stay in touch!

Hey Melissa,

Have you taught your daughter the quaters game that you learned at CHART yet? Great to have you as a friend.
Hope to see you again soon,
