- I grew up in a family restaurant in Southern California. I had 5 siblings and we all worked in the restaurant, growing up. In June of 2016 we will celebrate the 100th year of our restaurant, which we leased to the Chart House in 1976, although we maintain ownership of the building and property. I moved to Oregon in 1993 and opened my Coffeehouse in July of 2001.
