I'm known as 'the beer girl' - I do like beer but I'm passionate about helping bars and restaurants attract more customers in a unique and fun, viral way. I have been helping bars and restaurants get more customers using Beer2Buds - a social service that allows friends to send each other a 'beer' when they can't be there in person to share. We've grown to 21 US cities and 6 countries.
After hearing from our bar/restaurant partners that they wanted their own promotional system, I created PromoBomb - a trackable social promotions and mobile couponing tool that allows for custom creation of promotions. The promotions are spread on Facebook, Twitter, your blog, website, FohBoh, etc, and a trackable QR code is generated that drives customers to a unique mobile site to instantly redeem the promotion/coupon.
I'm excited about using cutting edge technology to continue helping hospitality businesses attract more customers in a fun way. And, of course to share more beer ;)

We could talk about Aflac any time. Let me know if you still have my card. If not, you can reach me on my cell 971-246-0857. Aflac has personal and business lines. The best part for businesses(3 w2 employees or more), no direct costs to set up group plans! One can also save money by setting it up on a Pre-tax basis, and lowering their taxable payroll. Call anytime, I'm more than happy to help.
Did Ashley just spell Bosom like it rhymes with possum? I like that better. That was so fun up at the conference (and maybe sometime I'll tell you what else happened :) Let us know next time you're near, and we'll invite you to one of our initiations to the Standing Stone Circle of Trust. I can't give you any more details now, but I'll let you know you're a prime candidate for the circle. Creepy...

The parenting section of the bookstore is overwhelming—it's "a giant, candy-colored monument to our collective panic," as writer Jennifer Senior puts it. Why is parenthood filled with so much anxiety? Because the goal of modern, middle-class parents—to raise happy children—is so elusive. In this honest talk, she offers some kinder and more achievable aims.
Within each of us are two selves, suggests David Brooks in this meditative short talk: the self who craves success, who builds a résumé, and the self who seeks connection, community, love -- the values that make for a great eulogy. (Joseph Soloveitchik has called these selves "Adam I" and "Adam II.") Brooks asks: Can we balance these two selves?
What drove David Sengeh to create a more comfortable prosthetic limb? He grew up in Sierra Leone, and too many of the people he loves are missing limbs after the brutal civil war there. When he noticed that people who had prosthetics weren’t actually wearing them, the TED Fellow set out to discover why — and to solve the problem with his team from the MIT Media Lab.
We live in a world of unseeable beauty, so subtle and delicate that it is imperceptible to the human eye. To bring this invisible world to light, filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg bends the boundaries of time and space with high-speed cameras, time lapses and microscopes. At TED2014, he shares highlights from his latest project, a 3D film titled "Mysteries of the Unseen World," which slows down, speeds up, and magnifies the astonishing wonders of nature.
