Biography: Ken Spahn is also a renowned culinary writer, having authored more than 300 articles over the past 20 years. Mr. Spahn is currently the Food & Restaurant Columnist for Today’s Restaurant News, Simply The Best Magazine, and Boca Raton Observer Magazine, and Sally’s Place on-line Dining Guide. He has also served as Food Critic for Boca Raton News and Happy Times Monthly newspapers; Las Olas, Boca Life, and Enlightened Practice Magazines, and various other trade and specialty publications. With his extensive experience and inside connections with literally thousands of restaurant professionals, Ken Spahn has developed an unparalleled, personal, and truly unique knowledge of restaurants, their requirements, and the key players. Ken Spahn has also been intricately involved in many culinary events over the years, and has even the honor of being serving as celebrity Judge for the prestigious Taste of The Nation, as well as the Best of Boca, Venetian Carnivale, and Chocolate Decadence Festivals.

In addition, Mr. Spahn boasts a distinguished career in business and real estate law, having served as counsel for major commercial developers, and for various national, regional, and local restaurant, hospitality, and retail establishments. Restaurant Year in Review article by Ken Spahn (March-April 08 STB)

FYI, I thought you would find my "2007 Restaurant Year in Review" article of interest. Now appearing in the current (March-April) issue of Simply The Best Magazine. (My review of Taverna Kyma also appears in that issue).
I would attach the pdf for you, if I could figure out how on this website.

I'm heading down to Fort Lauderdale for a few days from the 17th though the 21st and while I'm there I was hoping to try to do some interviews for possible job openings in the Marketing field while there.
I really want to relocate my family to the area and was wondering if you have heard of any buzz or contacts I might be able to reach out to.
Even if you know of any head hunters you could steer me towards that would be helpful.
