Ken,
Welcome to Santa Barbara County or Santa Burgundy!
We would be happy to show you around the Santa Ynez Valley and give you some sugestions for some of the other top producers in our valley. In the meantime you can check out our website to get some idea about Arcadian. The site is currently being revamped but you can still access the old one. www.arcadianwinery.com

To answer your question, my husband and I both have MBAs and wanted a more independent lifestyle going forward. We always knew we wanted our own business even though we were doing well climbing our respective corporate ladders. We decided that our family's incredible gourmet coffee, which had been supplying large company's in Europe, like Illy, and Nestle, with their green coffee, could be brought to the US in roasted form and marketed directly to the consumer. Now we do retail and wholesale business with the roasted coffee, in addition we are interested in supplying North American companies with green coffee as well.
