Biography
I am a recovering chef; I have a degree from the Culinary Institute of America and have cooked at prestigious restaurants such as Le Cirque, and Le Bernardin in New York. Since leaving the kitchen, I've owned an antiquarian bookstore, gotten an MBA, been a stockbroker, and worked for Share Our Strength www.strength.org, a not-for-profit dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger in America, organizing Taste of the Nation events in 15 cities across the US and Canada. Currently, I am the National Manager of Culinary Relations for Zwilling JA Henckels www.jahenckels.com, the worlds leading knife manufacturer. In this position I travels around the country working with the nation’s top chefs to promote Henckels cutlery and cookware.
Hello Jeffrey,
I would like to personally invite you to my site...YouGottaMenu.com!! Its a place where you can advertise your business, promote your special events & invite your customers there to blog about food related events. Your customers will also be able to exchange recipes, join groups and interact with other food customers from around the world!! It's a different concept, but I think that's the draw. I am very excited about the future of this site. My company (Goins Enterprises) is currently launching a national campaign to promote this website. We feel that as we are promoting nationally, our members should promote to their own customers. I think that this site will give "Ellen Giminski" of Denver, the opportunity to experience your establishment & browse your menu and pictures. This will entice Mrs. Giminski to visit your establishment on her next trip. This, (I think) is a great formula for giving your customers a more intimate
look at your establishment.
We have also designated a place on the Home Page where we will doing "Close Ups" on Restaurants, Chefs & Special Events. Please stop by and take a look. Please contact me with any comments or constructive criticisms.

Jeffrey: Thanks for starting the Cutting Edge Group. Someone posted a question about knives and Doug Bond replied to it mentioning this group!
I love your company, and use it's products a lot! I also love your position within the company. It seems that our employment travels are almost simular. Would love to travel for food some how. But I am doing if for Xerox these days. TTYL and take care.
