- A server and bartender for many years at a few restaurants including Rock Bottom Brewery and Houstons, I left the industry to pursue a career, only to find myself back where I thrive and where I belong. Learning through experience about the importance, and always fine tuning my craft, 5 years at Houstons is where I credit my passion for service and attention to detail. I didn't know it at the time, but while I was serving and at the same time searching for a career and for what drives me, it was directly beneath me the entire time. After leaving the industry to try different careers as a Home Mortgage Consultant and an Outside Sales Representative, I was not living a life fulfilled and was drawn back into the restaurant industry by a young, successful, and growing company. I was hired to open a new RA Sushi in Tustin, CA, RA Sushi's 19th of 22 locations nationwide. I have been an assistant manager in the company for a year now and have not only been a part of hiring and training a completely new staff, but have also seen myself grown into a competent manager in a thriving store.
