Grew up in Norman Oklahoma and went to OU for 3 years before transferring to University of Texas at Austin in 93. Graduated from there with a chemical engineering degree in 95. I was good at chemE, but tired of it by the time I graduated and immediately started www.austincityguide.com. Battled with that for years to get it to a point that it nearly runs itself and makes enough money to throw at something bigger. Launched www.reservationgenie.com a year ago and am growing that concept as my main work these days.
