I think I finally started to figure this out, and my computer didn't crash when I logged on.

First, let me welcome to FohBoh. This is a great networking site to be a part of as you can already see.
I was fortunate enough to hook up with a food broker while I was starting my family and the sales side of our industry was great for me. I wish you much success in your new position. I found that my culinary background gave me a competative edge when talking with chef's. Knowing their needs firsthand makes you perfect for what your doing. I will look to you as an expert in the equipment field in the future.
