I have been pretty inactive on FOHBOH. We have successfully sold our restaurant (a huge feat in this economy), and have been evaluating our options.



My partners and I have been thinking about how we can help out other restaurant owners. The biggest problem we encountered was being able to communicate in effective, inexpensive ways with our loyal and local customers about specials and promotions to keep them coming back.

Diet.com wants your patrons to text them your restaurant name and menu item so that they can reply with nutritional information. Of course the big chains will be added to the service, but the question is do you want to add your restaurant? Could this be a beneficial marketing aspect?
