Running right along...BLAM! (Did I mention I was only 40?)

OK, so it is true...I have lost 40 pounds since April. I do have three cell phones, two of them fully activated blackberrys, I have and will and do the job of four people, I work an average of 65 hours a week, and I don't think I have ever had two days off in a row, or even in the same week. Then I suffered a minor stroke like event four weeks ago....

What a wake up call.

In this topsy turvy world of economic disasters and tragedies, I am noticing what can only be described as "pushing the panic button" happening more and more frequently. What I am referring to is this: in a season of the hospitality industry that is traditionally slow, in the wake of the media's proclaimation of economic doom, we are suddenly making decisions that could potentially harm our business for years to come. Hi Darnell,

I'm new to the Seattle area and so I thought that since we are neighbors I would just say "Hi".

Sounds like you had quite a scare in January - hope that you are feeling better.

Looks like you are "connected" in the hospitality industry here - I'm looking for a restaurant marketing gig - who should I contact or connect with?

Thanks!
Mary

I wanted to personally invite you to join our discussions in regards to cheeses at the Cheese Group on FohBoh. Every week we introduce a new cheese and invite you to find it in your area, buy it, try it and then dicuss it with us. We could use someone like yourself who could give us some good, positive feedback.
