Delete Discussion There is an issue with PROFIT regarding how it handles the new wing pack sizes. In all honesty, this problem had to be there since the introduction of pack sizes, and perhaps you guys as operators have identified and fixed the issue in your market.
However, with the new emphasis on wing packs and how they are displayed in the same ordering section as regular wings, it is imperative that you look at your coupons.
The problem comes with the way PROFIT identifies wings in the coupon interface. The new packs are a SUBTYPE of the main category Wings.
The issue is most older coupons (before packsizes) had this subtype marked for ALL since there were no other subtypes. The end result is a 50PC pack of wings is treated as 1 unit of wings.
So if you have a coupon for a Large 1 Topping & Wings $18.99 (for example) you can effectively ring up a Large 1 Topping & a 50Pack wings and get the same price.
The only solution I know of is to manually define the subtypes. This is extremely painful because there is not an ALL subtype for the different pack sizes.
Therefore for a 10pc wings, you need 4 lines that are like:
10PC Unsauced
Spicy Buffalo
BBQ Wings
10PC Honey Chipotle
Changing the SIZE column to 1Order does nothing, or atleast, does nothing for me.
So please guys, check your wing coupons etc. If you use the Pizza + ANY SIDE coupons from VBO CMS then those are probably affected too.
And any PROFITpeople, can you please add a 10PC ALL, 20PC ALL etc under subtypes.
