Biography
A Bit About Daniel… The Person!

Daniel N. Calderon is a passionate leader, student, restaurant manager, social media enthusiast and consultant working with restaurants and hospitality organizations in assorted ways. Discovering that he exceeds at engaging, entertaining, leading and inspiring others, he sets out on a journey to use those strengths through social media. Providing an out-of-this-world experience with outstanding products and services that WOW guests is the goal of Hospitality Businesses. Daniel’s main objective is to consistently help clients achieve their goals.

The Student & Professional…

A student of Business Management and Marketing at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and the C. T. Bauer College of Business (University of Houston). Like many hospitality leaders, Daniel had the opportunity of entering into the food-service world at an early age. Starting from the ground floor and drafting his career diligently with a nice progression. The story began as a busser/food-prep promoted to server, restaurant coordinator, supervisor, assistant catering manager to restaurant manager, assistant general manager, and beyond (hands-on experience). In addition, Daniel has worked with Hotels, Catering Companies, Staffing Agencies, Town-Car Service Companies and Bars. His background allows him to view hospitality operations from multiple viewpoints, enabling creativity, keen problem-solving skills and perseverance within a traditionally high turnover industry.

The Inquisitive One…

On his spare time, Daniel enjoys learning about Leadership, Management, Pragmatic Marketing Practices, Public Relations, and Social Media Networking & Technologies. He strongly believes that, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” He is honored to be the Social Media Ambassador for A’La Carte Foodservice Consulting Group and Hospitality Pro Search.

The Core Belief….

Finally, Daniel’s core belief is that …”Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate.” ~ Jon Bon Jovi

Yeah, I have been with them for about 2 1/2 years and really enjoy the people I work with. They are very family oriented and really seem to care about the employees. I have always heard great things about the Pappa's family too.
