- I started working as a dishwasher in high school and fell in love with the restaurant industry. Bah, who needs college? I was making money, baby! Worked my way up through various independant restaurants till I landed at the local Red Lion hotel. Spent a few years with them, finally leaving after 8 years. Ran a couple of other restaurants and convention centers for a few more years till I got hired on as Sales with Sysco Sacramento
