Biography: I began my career in the restaurant industry in 1993 as a Recruiting Coordinator with CEC Entertainment, Inc. which has more than 500 family dining and entertainment venues in the U.S. and Canada. It was here that I discovered my love for recruiting and was soon promoted to a field management recruiter position. I worked closely with the field operations leadership teams to source, interview and evaluate managers and technicians for the individual venues coast to coast.

In my last six years at CEC Entertainment, Inc. I was Manager of Recruiting where I worked to add new recruiting sources and tools to better support the hiring and tracking processes used by the field recruiters. This included the first Applicant Tracking System and customized pre-employment manager assessment. I analyzed and developed recruiting campaigns as well as researched and managed all vendor relations.

In 2006, I joined Restaurant Management Careers as the Eastern Regional Director. I was charged with helping to take the company’s restaurant focused career fairs nationwide. I consulted and supported restaurant companies across the east with recruiting crew, managers and multi-unit management personnel.

In February of 2008, I joined M.Thrailkill & Associates as an Executive Management Recruiter. M.Thrailkill & Associates is an executive search firm for the hospitality industry with a long history of providing a personal, thorough, and specialized service to promote career and company growth.

I attended the University of TX Arlington and received a B.B.A. with a focus in Marketing. I am a long time member and participant of the Society of Human Resource Management, Women’s Foodservice Forum, the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality and the Association of Human Resource Executives.

In my spare time, I enjoy travel, sports, outdoor activities, cooking, gardening and time with family and friends.
