Biography
I've been working in the industry since I was 15 years old. I started as the bus girl/salad bar prep/filler at Buehler's Mill-town Restaurant in Wooster, Ohio and was promoted to what was then known as waitress (now known as server). From there I progressed on to Country Kitchen as a hostess and server until I graduated from High School.
I worked my way through college as a server on and off, and worked as a served part-time after graduating from college and getting my first job at a publisher, always keeping a serving job on the side for extra cash.
In 1997 I quit my job with the publisher and went back to work full-time as a server at Maggiano's Little Italy in Oakbrook, IL. I worked full-time as a server there until May of 2000 when I went to work in the Corporate offices of Maggiano's in Chicago as Assistant to the VP of Food & Beverage.
I worked in the role of Assistant to the VP of F & B for Maggiano's Little Italy in Chicago, assisting the Corporate Chef and the Culinary Team until February 2001, and was promoted to Culinary Specialist, working direclty with the Corporate Chef on items like recipe development, recipe costing and recipe maintenance. I worked in this position until January of 2005.
In January 2005 I left Maggiano's and went to work at the Corporate Offices of Hyatt International in Chicago, IL as the Assistant to the Vice President of Food and Beverage. I stayed in this position until October 2006.
In October 2006 I left Hyatt to go work for Cenitare Restaurant Company as Assistant to Celebrity Chef Rick Tramonto. I worked in this position until October 2008 when I was laid off.
As of October 27, 2008 I am currently looking for a position.
I have extensive experience in Culinary administration. I can be reached at christinamariefox@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

Christina, How are things in Chicago? I have been tracking the economic effects on clients around the country and am interested in how hospitality is doing there. What type of consulting have you been doing? and/or want to be doing? Is this your preferance or something to do until you find the right full time job? Please let me know...btw, have you been to my website? www.alacarteconsultinggroup.com
