Howzit, braddah? Kinda lost track of you over the years. Joel, put me onto this site to try track you down.
I had an urgent question to ask you about sourcing White Truffle oil, discovered that nearly all of them use a synthetic flavoring agent. Apparently essence of truffle oxidize rapidly once the bottle is opened to the air.
Then I discovered http://www.oregontruffleoil.com/node/25 in small, usable 2 oz bottles. Looks like this solves my problem.
Also discovered Black Moth Truffle infused Vodka, which also uses real truffles, but doesn't seem to be available through normal consumer channels, (corner liquor stores!).
I've got the same email address as I've had for 15 years. Give me a shout. I'm now in Fredericksburg. Just in case you are now using your iPad2 in the kitchen! HA!
Glad I discovered this re-connect with you, and hope you are enjoying vast success in this endeavor.
Aloha a hui hou, my friend!!!
