Chef Mark Tafoya is Executive Producer of the Culinary Media Network, the world's first all food audio and video podcast network. Published since August of 2005, it started with the ReMARKable Palate Podcast, and has since grown to include Food Philosophy, The Culinary Roundtable, as well as other shows produced in-house. We also feature shows made by other producers.

Chef Mark is also Co-owner and President of Adventures in Gastronomy, LLC, a new media consulting and production company. We provide consulting services in the culinary sphere for companies who want to reach epicurean audiences with unique content that speaks to their passion for food and wine.

We provide production services in new media in both audio and video, providing custom made content to uniquely position our clients using the power of downloadable media.

I'm also the owner of ReMARKable Palate Personal Chef Service in Manhattan. I do regular weekly meals for select clients, and intimate private parties and cooking classes in the home. I'm a Certified Personal Chef, and serve on the National Advisory Council of the United States Personal Chef Association.

I wish to speak to you with regard to a fabulous event that I spearheaded 5 years ago with the City of Hope Cancer Research Institute and I am looking for Pastry Chefs for a March 9th date for the Let Them Eat Cake Wedding Cake Design Competiton held here in Philadelphia. I hosted last year Ms. Sylvia Weinstock as our presenting Judge. Hey Mark, Dont know if you remember me or not.
We met a while back... I'm "Chef J." out here in Chicago.

Anyway - I have a side business going out here that may
be of interest to you, and other Chefs in New York.

My partner and I teach nutrition at Kendall College. Our "side business" is doing nutrition analysis for restaurants and small businesses.

Seems like that [nutriton] is getting to be a hot subject in Nerw York. - might you be interested in "brokering" our service to New York restaurants and food businesses?

You would make 25% of our gross for "finding" the customers. Then we do the work. We have similar arrangments with chefs in other cities and its working out very well.

* we can provide better prices than any other provider we have found so far. [we have college students for labor]

Let me know if you might be interested.

Mark, the groups capability is a bit primitive still and we're planning on this enhancement later to add group videos. In the meantime, I think the easiest method is for you to create a discussion in the group and insert the videos there. It's a bit crude, but should work. Another method is to add these to the general video and tag them with "wine". Then you could link to the videos from the group discussion.

Thanks for inviting me to be your friend and offering to add videos to the Wine Lovers group. Unfortunately, I'm not the group owner of Wine Lovers, so you'll need to contact Ted (FohBoh) and pass along the videos to him and ask him if he would upload them.

Only the owner of a group, or the one that started the group--same person, has a box to edit, like you do on your profile page for your various preferences, to add videos, photos, and other media elements. I'm not sure if you can embed those videos in a discussion post, but I would recommend that you a start a discussion on Wine Lovers, fool around with it and see if it will allow you to add a video. If it does, great. If not, Ted's your guy. By the way, Ted is also the Technology guy for the entire FohBoh site, so if you have any technical issues at all, he's the one to talk to.

Thanks again for adding me to your friend's list. I haven't had a chance to check out your videos yet since I mostly surf this site while I'm at work, but I'll catch up. the feedback from others, however, has been incredible.
