Lead a team of Area Developer Operations managers that are responsible for supporting franchisees in increasing sales and profitability for over 500 stores. Successfully created and launched new programs such as smoothie lines, soft serve yogurt and espresso to name a few. Created and teach profitability curriculum for franchisees, encompassing 13 brands, to prepare them to operate a profitable business.
8/2006-10/2007 Director of Store Profitability
Lead a team of profitability consultants that were responsible for working with franchisees and Area Developers to ensure profitable businesses within the community, assisting the franchise community to 4.9% increase to return on revenue. Lead a Loss Prevention team that identified over $1.5 million in under reported sales. Created new relationships and managed current relationships with all national preferred partners and preferred lending partners with services that include payroll, accounting, and credit card processing. Conducted and successfully assumed a credit of nearly $100,000 through price verification audits with our distribution company.
10/2005-8/2006 Senior Store Profitability Consultant
Responsible for creating annual store budgets for all stores owned and operated by the corporation and implemented Area Developer P&L collection to determine cost opportunities for Area Developers. Team conducted profitability symposiums throughout the country that formally presented information to the franchise community and assisted franchisees through P&L analysis, inventory control, labor control and other cost management tools. During this time the team created tools such as inventory management spreadsheets, a labor scheduler, monthly budgeting tool and other tools to increase business knowledge of franchisees.

1/2008-Present Professor - Hospitality Sales Management
Teach the Hospitality Sales Management course for Northern Arizona University’s Hotel & Restaurant Management program. This is a core class for students that are pursuing a degree in hotel and restaurant management that examines sales management and skills methodologies specifically applied to the hospitality industry and its sub-industries.
