Thanks for the response! I am still amazed that restaurants are allowed to do this. I tried to look the rules up online to find out what laws apply, no luck.
As for the service, I wouldn't be surprised if the business hit a rough patch within the year. If your bleeding out that much money based on just one night...oh my.
