Biography
Billie Bryan has been a Barista at Seattle independent coffee houses since 2002 when she began working at Hotwire North . Billie quickly realized that this line of work was the opportunity she had been searching for! Her outgoing and friendly personality make it easy for her to interact with people from all walks of life.

While working for other dynamic independent shop owners, Billie made efforts on their behalf to help their shops succeed through the highest quality customer service, always attempting to go above and beyond what people commonly expect at other possibly more “corporate” shops. Along the line she also was able to hone her baking skills and discovered a passion for pleasing her customers with warm-from-the-oven baked goods like cupcakes, sweet breads, muffins and specialty “morning foods” and desserts. She developed great interactive relationships with a huge variety of customers from Shoreline to Edmonds and Lynnwood, and continues to do so in the Maple Leaf/Northgate/Roosevelt neighborhoods as Owner of her own shop.

Billie’s goal at her shop is to provide the residents and businesses of the North Seattle neighborhoods a place that is as professional and desirable as any of the “downtown” coffeehouses, her friendly and outgoing personality is apparent while she and her Baristas are developing great relationships with many of their “regulars”. The focus at her neighborhood shop is to provide a selection of tempting and delicious high quality products, and serve it up with the best customer service.

It is Billie’s focus with the Coffee Squad to help staff members realize the importance not only of creating top quality espresso beverages consistently and quickly, but to do it with professional, friendly interaction with their customers. When she embarked on her “coffee adventure” six years ago, Billie knew it would develop into something far more intricate than just pulling shots and bagging pastries...it has, in fact, turned into a position focusing on the study of human behavior, managing quality control issues, and developing business relationships with other Seattle area coffeehouse Owners.
