Biography
I started with Applebee's as a Server and Expo. As I continued with the company I was developed into a completely cross-trained Associate who was also a certified Apple Elite for The Rose Group. I then moved into Management with the company and finally came to rest in the Corporate Office as the HR/Training Specialist.

I now work with all of the Managers in the system, hourly Associates, and Executive Operators. I work with both Human Resources and Training Departments to help bridge the two with alignment.

Reality is closing in on me...

As much as I try to stay abreast of the current topics of our country and the economy there is also a part of me that continues to defy that anything is really wrong. Old School BH 90210 OR The New BH 90210???

This is totally admitting that I have a secret addiction to Beverly Hills 90210...and I am prepared to come out of the closet and admit that every Saturday morning I lay around (if I can) and watch all those old episodes of 90210 that I grew up watching on a weekly basis. Finding the time for "the important stuff"

Part of my job includes doing an internal audit on our associate files to ensure both legal and training compliance. Not the most glamorous part of my job description, but, a necessary one none the less. From the time I started to complete this through today I feel that I have provided a necessary education to our managers on the 'ins and outs' of paperwork, time, and organization.

Staying Ahead of the Curve....Without Losing Your Mind...

So, how does your team stay ahead of the training curve? Do you develop new programs roll them out and let them go? Do you partner with your leaders for buy in before you put together programs? Do you ask you people the programs are meant to target what they are looking for?
