Biography
In 1987, Adam New entered the hospitality industry with naive eyes and open arms. In 1991, after completing the B.S. Hospitality Management Program at the Ohio State University and having worked in multiple food service operations, Adam started his formal career working for General Mills at a Red Lobster in Dublin, Ohio. Adam quickly found out the benefits and short comings related to working in the Hospitality Industry.

After working for numerous restaurant companies and the largest food supplier in the world, Adam had become a very experienced, very hardworking manager and consultant. He then went on to own his own retail store, restaurant, and a custom build wood shop. His career had taken him across the Midwest to cities like Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Cleveland, OH; and others. He had managed and/or opened 23 restaurants and had worked for the two largest food service distributors.

Having experience on all sides of the Hospitality Industry -- from a bus boy to an owner, from manager to concept developer, and from sales trainee to a top level performer in the food distribution business -- Adam's experience and ability to create outstanding levels of profit in many organizations has set him apart from his peers.

He has now vowed to help independent foodservice operators level the playing field with their food distributors. His experience at all levels and on both sides of the food business, put him in a very unique position to create winning plans that keep restaurant bottom lines healthy. His passion for the business and creativity often push the boundaries of what was previously thought to be impossible. He has developed customer service programs and business models that have proven effective in all economies.

His programs and work have created consistent double digit and higher increases in profit for all types of food operations -- from small ice cream parlors to professional baseball operations. Now, his focus is on helping the core of the hospitality business -- the independent operator.

Adam, now a father of four great kids, spends as much time with Julie and the kids as possible. In their home in Mentor, Adam and Julie have started renovating a historic home, built in 1853, and have built a program designed to help the independent foodservice operator.

Think of him like you would think of someone who was a good friend that had worked for your biggest supplier. Someone who wasn't afraid to teach the truth about how things really work on the inside. As a matter of fact you could say to yourself "he's my guy on the inside." Any time I want to talk to him I just go to www.myguyinside.com.

As a group of independent restaurant operators...

We Believe:

We Have a Right to Know When Prices Increase, Before We Buy.

We wouldn’t think of charging our customers a different price than was agreed without telling them. We expect the same treatment. We will purchase products from vendors that are upfront and honest with us and we will work only with those who inform us of price changes… Continue

Hello Adam! It's great to make connections with fellow Ohioans! Your home is beautiful and I am very envious. You don't see architechture like that in Arizona! My sister in recently started working with Sysco as an account rep in the Western Ohio region. I will have her check out your blogs, perhaps she can see what it's like on the other side of the purchasing scenario.
Cheers!
