Small Business and the LA Restaurant Scene
In case anyone didn't have to remind you, yes we're still very much in a recession. And it's hurt the restaurant business tremendously. Having worked with all sorts of sizes of restaurants, from the famous to the famous only in their mind (hey, I'm in LA....everyone's a dreamer out here) and recently with a couple of small restaurant operations and their restructuring, I can only tell you that to be a small mom and pop style restaurant in 2010 is going to be a much larger haul than it ever has…See More

- Originally from Philadelphia, started in the TV business as a designer after graduating from schools in PA and FL. Moved to the web in 1996 and New Orleans in 1997 where I started consulting various food operations on their web initiatives. In New Orleans I worked with Emerils.com, Acme Oyster House, Culinary Institute of New Orleans, Figueroa Brothers (Melinda's Hot Sauce, New Orleans Coffee Works, iChill, etc.), Aunt Sally's Creole Pralines and more. After Hurricane Katrina hit, I relocated to Southern California and now work with Tender Greens, Patty's Gourmet Pizza, JamWest Foods, Granola Gourmet and others on their web designs, online branding and social media initiatives in some cases.
