Very good interview and discussion on the basic tenets of science, society and the effects of technology in our lives. Amazing how this was recorded before Sagan's death in 1996 and how prevalent and salient much of the discussion still is today!

Sagan was my hero when I was in high school, still is a great hero today!

I'm with you Chef.
Sagan was really the first true scientist to embrace the concept of bringing science to the people in an understandable way. And he wasn't afraid to include science fiction into the realm...unique for a scientist.

My hero has always been Story Musgrave. Actually met him once at Kennedy Space Center....not too many people know about him...but he's logged more hours in space than any other human being...pretty impressive when you think about it.
