I have seen this before I love it. Teamwork is easy to get going if everyone understands why they are there. All the money that they get paid comes from the guests. The guests will come back more often, spend more and tip more if they have a great time. So it is in everyones best interest to work together so everyone wins. I read Johns ideas and they are great. I would also suggest a total staff goal like a combo of check average increase with minimum boo-boos in the kitchen (ie better food cost and guest retention) then if the goal is reached everyone wins. Go go carting, play vids on your local imax screen, have a night out at another local restaurant....
