New Local Search Tool: GetListed.org

Claiming and verifying your Restaurant business listing on the major search engines like Google and Yahoo just got easier with the release of GetListed.org a few weeks ago.

As a web designer and search marketer even I can appreciate the streamlined offering by just plugging in your business name and zip code to see if your listed. If you're not, direct links appear so you can create the proper accounts and get listed. Use of the tool is free.

I'm amazed at even some of the very successful Restaurant operations I did reports for that came up without proper information in Google or Yahoo. I blogged today on GetListed.org and used an example of a well known pizza joint in Minneapolis. I was surprised to see they lacked a complete listing with Google.

So take a few seconds to run a report on GetListed.org and make sure your info with these major local search services are up to speed.
