As nationally branded concepts have reduced the proportion of corporately operated units, a greater share of restaurants is owned and operated by multi-unit franchisees, many of whom grew primarily through acquisition and aren't as confident about (or have the internal resources to pursue) new unit development.  I'm here to contribute ideas about new unit expansion and to be a resource.

As a Restaurant / Foodservice designer for over 25+ years. I am here as a resource to other consultants who do not do design for restaurants & foodservice facilities but are looking to consider JV with my firm for new or remodel projects for there clients.

I am also very open to share my knowledge and expertieses on restaurant design, foodservice planning, lighting design, & concept/theme development.

I'm just getting started. Controlling food and bar costs has been my specialty since I got into the business about 30 years ago. I'm looking for tips as to how to get my foot into the door.

My specialty is back office controls—helping restaurant owners determine and achieve target costs in a more productive and effective manner. I want to reduce the time being spent on non-revenue producing activities so the owner can focus on building the business, which has become more important than ever. I’m really enjoying teaming and networking with other professionals who have different specialties, especially anything that helps owners bring in more revenue (so I can help them keep it!). I particularly enjoy this site because their seems to be a common passion for really helping independent owners be more successful and profitable.

Wahlburgers has signed a franchise agreement with Hingham Associates, LLC that will bring five Wahlburgers to the metropolitan Philadelphia area over the next several years. The franchise group is actively looking at sites and is targeting a late 2014-early 2015 opening for its first restaurant.
