Stovetop stuffing or mashed potatoes, why not both! There is no need to put one region over another. The common thread is the quality of the ingredient. The simplesity of the dish and the appreciation of the labor and love make Italian foodS the envy of the world.
The Grandfather of modern cusine stated that without the Italians.......

was blessed enough to have parents whom took my brother, sister and myself to Italy for 3 weeks in the late 1980's, I've not had the opportunity to return. I recall Rome, assisi, Milan. Dinning at one restuant in Milan which dislplayed a wondrful table as you entered. The arrangement of Fresh Seafood and my favorite, hundreds of live fresh shrimp clinging to and climbing up and down the buffet's tablecloth! Now that is the "REAL DEAL"!!

I haven't returned though it is without questrion yet another one of my goals in life. Teaching my two young daughters about true cusine's is very important to me.

For this particulare trip, I took time off from my position as the Executive Chef of an Italian Restaurant. Wow, such a wondrful opportunity to learn an put you cuisine into a far greater perspective.

Is there possibly anywhere ewlse to tavel? Lol - John
