In addition to positive public relations, the operation deemed to be the most sustainable foodservice or food retail operation of 2009 can receive a $5,000 grant. More information and the application is available at http://tr.im/gZgk. Contact me with any questions. Thanks and good luck!

Hi. Tammy. I represent the Kendall College School of Culinary Arts, a for-profit institution. They began their sustainability journey in 2005 and are the first culinary school to have their restaurants green certified by the Green Restaurant Association. I tried to find the application at the URL listed above and it was no longer there. Am I too late?

Regards,
Cindy
Hi Cindy. Thanks for your response. You definitely can still apply for the grant as the deadline is not until August 31, 2009. Visit www.hcfsforum.com for more information and the application. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other information. Thanks!

Hi, Tammy. Thanks so much for the information; I've forwarded it along to my client. Will you be at the NRA Show this month? If so, perhaps we could get together. We're doing a lot with NRA's Conserve so we'll be around. I fly in on Saturday. If you prefer, you can contact me directly at cindy@pr-wiz.biz.

Regards,
Cindy
