Hi Neill,

Looking at your comment about wanting to get back into the industry and menu decisions made me think of this .... Have you ever heard of Maid-Rite? It's a small franchise chain that's native to Iowa. It's loose meat burgers. There is also another another place called Canteen which is located in Ottumwa, Iowa and locally owned. They too, serve loose meat burgers and aren't a franchise. I don't know if Maid - Rite serves anything like a Pizza Burger perhaps ... http://www.maid-rite.com/

Here is Maid-rite's web link for you. Have you considered something similar to that of 2 restaurant's in 1. Say like Long John Silver's & A&W together or KFC & Taco Bell are together all in the same place .... Just some thoughs / idea's for you ...

I am about to partake on an adventure to get back in the restaurant industry - I know I should be shot but at any rate - we have yet to decide on a menu and to this group of obvious burger and pizza lovers, I pose this question - can you mix the two in a concept - if so do you have any examples - I only know these two foods and I am not a chef of even have the skills to do more than wash some dishes - I have always gone the franchise route to insure the food end is taken care of - this time around I have the chance to do my own thing - any suggestions or comments would be appreciated - Neill
